Chef Gregory Farruggio opened Gregorio's in 2006 after a long successful career as a chef of a well-known NJ restaurant. Gregory and Alessandra, his Sicilian born wife, created this welcoming place with vibrant colors and art work on the walls that inspire a cozy-like home feeling.
Gregorio's focus is to combine the Mediterranean diet concepts well as the products into healthy, vibrant Italian-American cuisine. With numerous trips to Italy experiencing different flavors and techniques, to the big lunches al fresco with his wife's family he developed his passion for the simplicity and health benefits of the products of the Mediterranean. Olive Oil, nuts, fresh fruit used in his salads are some of the characteristic elements of his menu, together with a heart - light preparations symbolized by the sun in his logo. His creative menu presents a variety of dishes from daily made pasta and ravioli to fresh seafood and meat, everything is prepared to order.
