Visit our other restaurant Trovato's in Elmwood Park, NJ
One day back in 1990, a pair of ambitious young brothers, Antonio and Pasquale
Trovato, launched a career in the highly competitive northern New Jersey
pizzeria market. Facing the burden of designing and constructing a site from
scratch with only a small empty space in the town of Elmwood Park to work with,
the odds weighed heavily against them. However, having been groomed with
more than twelve years of experience in the restaurant and food service business, theywould not be deterred. Over time, the small family-style pizzeria that they built on Elm Street and aptly named Trovato’s became a bustling landmark for high
quality, freshly cooked Italian meals. Offering delivery as well as dine-in
service of the most creative and delicious pizzas and Italian dishes, the Trovato
brothers introduced a one-of-a-kind dining experience to a community already
inundated with run of the mill “pizza joints”.
Trovato’s would soon outgrow the small Elm Street pizzeria, leaving Antonio and
Pasquale to face yet another daunting challenge. With concern for disrupting the
outstanding reputation they labored so hard to earn, the two brothers relocated
their business to the eastbound side of Route 46 in Elmwood Park, NJ. Featuring
a brick oven, the larger Route 46 location drew an overwhelmingly positive
response from both new and loyal customers. This continued success led to the
decision to expand the dining area and trade the brick ovens for a fully
operational culinary kitchen, thus transforming Trovato’s from a dine-in and
delivery pizzeria to the fine Italian ristorante that it is today.
Having firmly established themselves as leaders in fine Italian dining over the
years, Trovato’s would expand its horizons even further. The brothers would
accept an invitation to open a second ristorante, and in January of 2009, Trovato’s
Due was born in Oakland, NJ. With Pasquale managing operations at Trovato’s,
Antonio assembled a professional staff and a delectable menu at Trovato’s Due to
invite a new community of folks to join in the Trovato family’s dining tradition.
Much like the original Trovato’s ristorante, Trovato’s Due prides itself on an
Italian cuisine and level of service that are of unrivaled quality all within an
elegant, yet home-style dining setting.
What set the very first Trovato’s pizzeria apart from others in the early 90’s is what
still sets Trovato’s and Trovato’s Due apart from other restaurants today…innovativeculinary excellence, exceptional service, and quite simply, delicious Italian food.
We thank you for being a part of the Trovato tradition. Zagat Rated.
