Located in the historic Nassau Inn, in the heart of Palmer Square in Downtown Princeton, recognized as the central meeting place before and after theatre performances and University games and events, the Yankee Doodle Tap Room is known as Princeton's destination for casual dining. The Ambiance
This unique pub features contemporary American cuisine and historic icons no other restaurant can offer. In addition to the cozy fireplace and live entertainment various nights throughout the month, there are 5 big-screen HDTVs ideal for any sporting event. The Tap Room is kid-friendly and non-smoking. If you wish, there are rooms upstairs available for private dining which would be reserved prior to your meal.

The Food
The Yankee Doodle Tap Room serves Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner menus daily. You can now enjoy 12 world beers on tap and seasonal items you won’t want to miss. The Nassau Inn Wings, Beef & Ale and Doodle Monkey are just a few staples prepared by Executive Chef Matt Volpe. Vegetarians are welcome.

The History
The Tap Room’s timeless charm includes the alumni carved names and dates on the solid oak tabletops, and the black and white photo gallery of famous Princeton University graduates from the past century. The largest piece of history is the 1937 original Norman Rockwell mural of Yankee Doodle, hanging 13 feet wide above the bar, which gave the restaurant its name. Come see and taste what people have cherished for more than 70 years.
